We had a wonderful experience at Central Apartment! It is perfectly located literally a few steps from Piazza Vittorio Veneto, one of the main piazzas in Matera. The apartment is super clean, bright, and fitted with all of the amenities one could want while visiting Matera: a full kitchen with stove, oven, fridge and freezer, coffee maker with coffee, tea kettle with tea, dishes, utensils and pots and pans. The bedrooms each have brand new wardrobes. The bathroom has lots of personal touches and also has a brand new clothes washer and dryer. The entire unit is air-conditioned with a thermostat easily controlled. The host left a welcome bowl of fruit, a map of Matera and was instantly responsive to our messages. We couldn't have imagined easier access to Matera Centro! The apartment is on the ground floor and is in a side street off of the main street, making it feel private and quiet. We felt very lucky to have found this apartment and we want to compliment the owner for such a beautiful space, well tended and well loved. We would definitely return and recommend it highly to others.
